YouTube's Stars
I went on the class required blog for "Modern Marketing" To search articles to read. I had found a short Article, called "You Tube's Stars" I clickedo on the ad to learn more. Apparantly YouTube plan's to help its most popular "artists/stars" create some moeny for the work that they've been doing. They want to make sure that these people can start to make a living off of their talent, in hopes to have others start to create their own original content as well". Although YouTube has always been against rewarding their users because they wanted to make sure people were doing it for the right reasons, not monetary ones, Youtube beleives that now it is time for them to see some rewards for the efforts they have been putting in.

By paying people, the videos on you tube will get more creative and entertaining, resulting in more of an enjoyable experience for viewers as well as more visitors for you tube.
I totally agree with you. I really do think that it is a good idea and that it will boost the people surfing You tube's site. I think that it is important not that they just get more creative and entertaining but they, the "stars" are compensated for all of the work they have been doing, which is what has been bringing people to You Tube in the First place.
